Scuderia Toro Rosso STR12 Launched!

Scuderia Toro Rosso have changed their image this year. Gone is the dark blue livery with the hand painted bull, replaced by a vibrant blue and red scheme that is sure to stand out on the grid:

STR have delivered a striking livery for 2017

The team released a handful of photos from the track on their Twitter page, and the results are stunning:

The shark fin looks incredible with the chosen shade of blue and the white bull logo
Toro Rosso and Mercedes are the only teams this year without a thumb nose
The airbox is quite large, the bottom covered slightly by the driver’s helmet
There is a small Italian flag on the front wing mount

A gorgeous livery from the (other) Scuderia!

For the sake of comparison, here is last year’s STR11:

The Faenza team had run with the dark blue base, hand painted bull and gold nose tip since their inception in 2006:

STR are aiming for fifth in this year’s constructors’ championship. They have a talented driver lineup and design team, and have returned to Renault power for 2017.
